As vice president of construction since 2004, Dave Gralike is the executive ultimately responsible for planning the accurate, cost-efficient installation of complex electrical and communication systems on new construction projects. His focus is to ensure that every project awarded to Guarantee Electrical Co. is delivered on time and within budget.
A fourth generation electrician, Gralike has been a Guarantee team member for more than 20 years. He started at Guarantee as an apprentice electrician and advanced to:
- foreman,
- general foreman,
- superintendent,
- manpower coordinator,
- project manager,
- national senior manager,
- director of construction and
- vice president of construction.
In 2007, he joined the firm’s Executive Management Team.
Gralike’s diverse professional background gives him rare insight into how to best manage enterprise-scale installations. He is especially gifted at optimizing production in high-rise office and residential, medical, institutional and industrial settings as well as on design-build assignments that span electrical, voice and data systems.
Gralike is active in the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). He served as secretary of the Mehlville Fire Protection District and was formerly president of the Mehlville School Board.
A National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee graduate, Gralike has completed numerous professional certification programs since beginning his construction career in 1983, including:
- 30-hour OSHA training,
- NECA advanced estimating,
- NECA project management training and
- Asbestos/lead abatement training.
