Guarantee Electrical Company had an outstanding showing at the annual AGC Construction Keystone Awards in St. Louis taking home several awards including the highly coveted top award, Electrical Contractor of the year.  Guarantee led the pack with five projects nominated for project of the year.  More impressively, for the first time in AGC Keystone Awards history, Guarantee swept the entire category in the Specialty Contractor / Subcontractor -Building Construction-Project $5 Million or more category with three projects in contention.  The project taking home the top prize in that category was for GECO’s work on the Mercy Joplin Replacement Hospital, working with McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.  The other two projects earning Finalist awards in the same category were the new SSM Health St. Mary’s Jefferson City Hospital and the new Cape Girardeau Wastewater Treatment Plant. 

In the category General Contractor/Construction Manager/Prime Contractor-Industrial/Infrastructure-Projects Under $40 Million category, Guarantee was named Finalist for the SIUe Infrastructure Replacement project in Edwardsville, IL. 

For its work in the Interior Build-Out category, Guarantee took home another Finalist award for the Mercy Women’s Health Services 2nd Floor Renovation Project.  This project  was also recently awarded the 2015 ASHE Vista Award - Renovation Project at the American Society for Healthcare Engineering Planning Design & Construction Summit held in San Antonio, TX  

The AGC St. Louis Construction Keystone Awards honors the achievements of St. Louis construction firms and their employees in building the facilities that support and enhance the quality of life in Greater St. Louis. A Keystone Award recipient exhibits excellence in providing solutions to unique obstacles and challenges specific to their project. A Keystone Award is not given on beauty. The award is based on achieving solutions during construction for the challenges faced by contractors.
